NATUR
OIL’S Sockeye salmon oil is 100% natural. It is produced in a dedicated
processing facility on the shores of Bristol Bay, Alaska from freshly
caught, sustainably harvested sockeye salmon.
(In fact, it is the only fish oil supplement in the world to carry the
esteemed Marine Stewardship Council endorsement.) As you may know, in
addition to being abundant, the Alaskan sockeye is also one of the purest
of all ocean species, and highest of all wild salmon in the powerful
biological antioxidant, astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is a natural
carotenoid that gives our oil its
rich orange color—and is up to 100 times more potent than Vitamin
E at quenching singlet oxygen ‘free radicals’.
Immediately after extraction our oil is deep chilled and stored in airtight
containers until filtered and encapsulated in a pharmaceutical grade
processing facility. This basic yet thorough filtration process results
in a pure, unadulterated salmon oil rich in health-promoting omega-3s,
as well as a naturally balanced ‘formula’ of 32 other distinct
fatty acid molecules (below)
Suggested Use: Take a minimum of 2 capsules per day or as directed by a qualified healthcare professional.

Sockeye Salmon are caught with
careful handling and are kept fresh by "icing them down" until
they are either processed or frozen. Alaskan salmon are caught in the
wild, not farmed. Unlike farmed salmon, wild Alaskan Sockeye
salmon species grow free of antibiotics, pesticides, synthetic coloring
agent, growth hormones and GMO’s. Wild Alaskan sockeye salmon has the
least amount of mercury of almost any fish. Adult sockeye salmon have
dark blue-black backs, silvery sides and white bellies, until they reach
fresh water. The average sizes are 4-9 pounds and are 4-5 years of age.
The Sockeye's flesh is ruby red in color and is the most sought
after salmon of Alaska due to its wonderful flavor and color.
